PRINCIPLE SHOOTING WRAPS ON COMBAT REPORT,

THE ORIGINAL NEW WWII TELEVISION SERIES FROM ONE-EIGHTY FILMS 

​Portland, Ore. (October 7, 2014) -- “That’s a series wrap,” called out director Thad Smith at the end of the last day’s shooting for COMBAT REPORT, the edgy new WWII series from One-Eighty Films. After several months of hard work, the cast and crew reached the finish line of principle photography. Their efforts will be realized early in 2015 when the six-part series is scheduled to air on TUFF TV.

Portland, Ore. (June 6, 2014) -- On the 70th anniversary of D-Day, One-Eight Films began principle photography for COMBAT REPORT, the fact-based, six-part series set in WWII Europe. Slated to air in early 2015 on TUFF TV, the action-packed show follows an elite but expendable squad of G.I.’s on danger-filled special operations missions behind enemy lines.

FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR TONY SHAFFER FILMS DOCUMERCIAL 

FOR UPCOMING 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY EDITION OF EVERYMAN’S WAR

Portland, Ore. (March 20, 2014) -- Military analyst and Fox News contributor Tony Shaffer is in Portland to shoot a documercial for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day Edition DVD of EVERYMAN’S WAR — the acclaimed feature film produced by Portland’s One-Eighty Films about a local hero’s true story of courage of in the Battle of the Bulge. 

 

Shaffer, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, was interviewed on-camera for the documercial, “Family and Freedom: the Making of EVERYMAN’S WAR,” set to air in April on the RFD Network. He is a CIA-trained former senior intelligence officer and New York Times-bestselling author of Operation Dark Heart: Spycraft and Special Operations on the Frontlines of Afghanistan — and the Path to Victory. Shaffer’s latest book is The Last Line. He is a senior fellow with both the London Center for Policy Research and the Center for Advanced Defense Studies.

 

Along with the documercial, the 70th Anniversary of D-Day Edition DVD of EVERYMAN’S WAR will feature new scenes with actor Drew Waters as a U.S. Army military chaplain, a new Director’s Cut of scenes never shown before, plus enhanced special effects and musical score.

ANNUAL “HERITAGE OF HEROES” FESTIVAL TO MARK 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY

St. Helens, Ore. (February 20, 2014) -- In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of D-Day, One-Eighty Films and X-Factor Entertainment Group will present “Heritage of Heroes,” the inaugural weekend celebration honoring those who fought and died on foreign beaches in WWII, on July 25–27. Featuring “D-Day + 70 Years: A Live Action Event,” this will be the largest military exhibit and battle reenactment event west of the Mississippi.

 

“With a high percentage of Columbia County residents serving or having served in the armed forces, St. Helens is the perfect backdrop for Heritage of Heroes,” said Thad Smith, CEO of One-Eighty Films and X-Factor Entertainment Group. “We are proud to pay tribute to the heroic men and women who were veterans of the Greatest Generation.”

 

Set along the Columbia riverfront, the exciting three-day festival will showcase staged battles of the famous D-Day landings in Normandy, living history exhibits with rare displays of militaria, renowned military experts, an international military vehicle show, tours of the iconic Landing Craft Infantry, USO-themed shows and dances, and more.

(October 23, 2013) -- At a meeting with officials for the City of St. Helens, Portland’s One-Eighty Films and X-Factor Entertainment Group received the go-ahead from director of tourism Chris Finks to produce the first annual “Heritage of Heroes” as part of the Maritime Festival, July 21–24, 2014. One-Eighty Films and X-Factor’s CEO Thad Smith and principal Mike Nealy met with Finks to present their concept for the event, and to request promotional and marketing support from the St. Helens Tourism Fund. 

 

“We are proud to launch this annual tribute to the heroic men and women who were 

veterans of the Greatest Generation,” said Smith. “Heritage of Heroes will bring visitors to the St. Helens region in the way of hundreds of event participants such as military

re-enactors, vendors and spectators,” said Nealy. Through television, radio and print,

SECOND ANNUAL FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT & FAITH-BASED SUMMIT

Portland, Ore. (April 4, 2013) -- Mike Nealy, COO of One-Eighty Films (OEF), was in L.A. to meet with Rich Peluso, vice president of Affirm Films, the faith-based division of Sony Pictures. Nealy and Peluso discussed several “family friendly” OEF projects including APRIL IN SUMMER, FALLEN NOT FORGOTTEN and MAJESTIC CHRISTMAS.  

 

While in L.A., Nealy also met with representatives of National Geographic, Discovery, Esquire and CMT networks regarding HISTORY HUNTERS, the latest 30-minute reality TV series from OEF about buried treasure and how it got there.

 

Whether searching for an artifact from the Holy Roman Empire or a WWII rifle, Kolby Lanham and his team will stop at nothing as they travel across the world to find their target. HISTORY HUNTERS advances metal-detecting shows to a new level in full HD clarity, with full-scale reenactments that bring history to life through long-lost artifacts found in the ground. Once rediscovered, the items are donated to the respective museum or private party to help preserve history.
